What Is a Sample Sale?
Swan Brides will be having a New Year Sample Sale from Friday 6th January – Saturday 14th January 2023. A sample sale is the opportunity for a brides to buy an ex-sample wedding dress at a heavily discounted price, which is a time when the bridal boutique can make room for new wedding dress samples arriving in the new year.
Sample wedding dresses are the dresses readily available in the boutique, that have been tried on by other brides, they vary in size from size 10 up to size 26, depending on the sample in the shop. Usually, a bride would try on the sample in the boutique, and then order a brand new dress in their size, which means at the end of the season, the bridal boutique will still have their samples, which need to be sold to make room for the next season. The ex-samples then go into The Sale Lounge at a discounted price, the usual sale price is all-year-round, but during special times of the year, such as the New Year Sale, the dresses will be reduced further – meaning the bride can find an absolute bargain.

If you are having a smaller wedding with 1 to 2 bridesmaids, this could be the perfect option to find a bridesmaid dress while keeping within your budget. The ex-sample bridesmaid dresses are more limited in sizing and colour.
